Nothing in the paid column is a feature you would enjoy using. It is friction you will resent for about a day, at the hour you are least able to argue with it.
Free and Lock
The waitlist
cocloc is in early access and there is no public download. Free builds go out in small batches to people we have spoken to. Lock has no payment processor live, so there is nothing to buy today and no card to hand over. Pick a tier and leave an email: Free gets one message when there is a build for you, Lock gets one when payments open.
Before you pay
Two things you should read before you ever put a card in, and we would rather they were on the pricing page than three clicks deep in a policy.
The exit
If you cancel, the lock comes off at the end of your billing period, or 24 hours from now — whichever is later.
The rule behind that sentence is a maximum, not a minimum: the lock releases at whichever is later of the end of your paid access, or 24 hours after you asked. Cancel on day 5 of 30 and it releases at the end of your period. Cancel on day 29 and it releases 24 hours from the moment you asked, which is a few hours after the money ran out. That tail is bounded, it is short, and it is the same 24 hours you agreed to for everything else.
One exception. If the subscription ends without you asking — a failed card, a dunning cycle that runs out — the lock releases immediately. No gate, no wait. You did not choose that moment, so we do not hold you to it.
The refund
14 days, full refund, no questions. Email us from the address you bought with. The whole policy is here.
And the part people find out too late everywhere else: a refund returns your money. It does not remove the software and it does not release the gate. Removal takes the same 24 hours it always does.
What you need
- Windows 11, desktop or laptop. Windows 10 has never been tested and is not supported.
- About 30 MB of disk space.
- You must be 18 or over. cocloc is not a parental-control or monitoring tool.
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows will warn you when you run it. The early-access page walks through exactly what you will see.
